(1)Do you believe in demons or do you think that they are just evil spirits that refuse to cross over and cause havoc as they did in life?
1)Although I don't believe in the archetypal demon as portrayed in Hollywood epics, I do believe in demonic forces that are created and set in motion by evil-minded individuals, dead or alive. The perpetrator of the most heinous crimes, maintains their evil ways once they pass over. Once in the lower astral they are able to influence the minds of those individuals with whom they have resonance.
(2)Ouija boards good or bad?
2) I find the use of Ouija boards quite frightening, particularly when used by the ignorant. While the Ouija board can be a useful tool, it can also unleash the vagabonds of the lower astral; mischievous and often evil disembodied souls.(3)Do you believe that babies that are unborn are reincarnated or do they become a spirit?3) I don't believe that miscarried children are subjected to the process re-embodiment; nor do I believe that stillborn babies are subjected to re-birth. The whole process of reincarnation is quite complicated. In saying this, I do believe that a stillborn child has a deep spiritual connection with his or her parents, and they they will 'connect' again at some other time, maybe some other place. I believe the spirit is only present at the first breath. This is also a biblical notion.
(4)Whats the worst experience you have ever had regarding the paranormal..
4) To be very honest, I've had innumerable horrific experiences. This is the reason I always try to deter people who are nervous or weak minded getting involved with the paranormal. I have been lifted several inches and thrown at the wall by a poltergeist. I was very sick after the experience.
(5)Do you believe animals come back as spirits?
5) I do believe that animals have souls, But I don't embrace the Buddhist concept of transmigration, humans returning in the body of animals. Humans are connected to the animals they love and are loved by in some intricately woven soul group.
(6)Whats the most haunted place you have ever visited?
6) The most haunted place I have ever visited was a Victorian house in Southport. There had been several fatalities there since the nineteenth century, as a result a poltergeist had been created primarily from the energies that had occurred from the incidents. The house was eventually demolished. However, you can demolish the bricks and mortar, but as you well know, you cannot destroy energy, and so the poltergeist will persist in whatever is built in its place.
(7)Do you believe the SB7 spirit box is effective as we have used this many times and had very good results?
7) There are many very sophisticated so-called 'Ghost-Hunting' devices; but in my opinion nothing is as reliable as the human neurological device, the pineal gland - the brain's own radar and homing-device.
(8)Do you think ghosts return to there resting place,as many say graveyards arent haunted ?
8) It really depends on your definition of a 'Ghost'. The majority of ghostly apparitions are no more than sort of photographic images in the psychic space. Just as audio and video tape are coated with an electromagnetic substance enabling them to capture sound and images, so too is the surrounding atmosphere of so-called 'haunted locations filled with magnetic waves. In other words, we are constantly impregnating the surrounding air with our own energies that will persist long after we have gone. Our happiest and our saddest events are recorded to be replayed in the future, rather like sitting down to watch an old movie on a DVD.
(9)What is your opinion on orbs?
9) Unfortunately Ghost Hunting programmes such as Most Haunted and others were responsible for creating many fashionable terms such as 'Orbs'. If a genuine light anomaly is going to occur, it will occur to the naked eye as much as on film. I'm sceptical of all that stuff.
(10)Do you have any new books coming out soon as my boyfriend reads them a lot especially the one regarding chakras?
10) My new book, GHOSTLY TALES has just been published. This is an anthology of events I have either been involved in, or anecdotal tales I have explored. I have two more books coming out next year. The Key To Mediumistic Development.Incidentally, Ghostly Tales can be purchased from me, signed. £10 plus £1.50 postage.
Billy Roberts moved from the Northwest of England to Cornwall in 2011, where he lives with his wife, Dolly, to whom he has been married just over 6 years, and their two pussycats, Elly, a mischievous tortoiseshell, and Poppy (her sister) a more refined and lady-like, Felix-type pussycat.
Although Billy Roberts has been psychically and mediumistically inclined since he was a child, when he left school in 1962 at the age of 16, he was already living the dream of every kid his age – playing lead guitar in a rock band, touring the UK and overseas. While touring Europe, his band the Kruzads was spotted by Jean Vanlou, director of Unidans, one of the biggest agencies on the Continent. Billy’s band began playing on some of the largest venues throughout France and Brussels, supporting such great names as Chuck Berry, The Kinks, the Small Faces, Memphis Slim, The Moody Blues and Jimi Hendrix. It was then they cut their first disc, The Reason, for Vogue International, written by Billy.
In 1970 Billy’s Musical career came to an end when he became very ill as a result of his 12 year drug use.
It was at the lowest point in his life that the Spirit World came back into his life with a vengeance. Billy said he had a profound mystical appearance that
transformed his life and heightened the mediumistic skills he’d had since he was a child.
By 1977 Billy had more or less recovered. However, he still had to address the emotional aftermath of his addiction. This resulted in depression, and an acute anxiety neurosis that imposed immense restrictions on his life. He had studied meditation during the sixties (as many people did) and it was his use of Yantric meditation combined with Pranayama, a system of yogic breathing, that finally helped him gain control of his life once again.
Billy’s grandmother, his mother and her sister were mediums. His Aunty Louise had been a famous medium throughout the 1930s and 40s, and it was she who encouraged him into Spiritualism. And by 1981 Billy began serving Spiritualist Churches all over the UK. As his popularity grew he began receiving invitations to serve churches in America and Canada. By 1983 Billy became extremely disillusioned with Spiritualism, and so he founded The Thought Workshop, the Northwest of England’s first Centre for Psychic and Spiritual Studies and Alternative Therapies, visited by esoteric students worldwide. As The Thought Workshop was such an innovation, both the BBC and ITV filmed short documentaries there, increasing its popularity even more.
The Thought Workshop was dissolved in 1999, at which time Billy opened the Billy Roberts Paranormal Study Centre in the famous Penny Lane, (of Beatles fame) Liverpool.
